The CCS Waffle GREY Foam Cutting Pad pad is dense, firm, and very coarse. This is for use with an aggressive compound to remove serious paint defects such as sanding scratches, deep scratches, oxidation, and weathered paint. Also, It works very well on gel coat and fiberglass.
CCS stands for collapsed cell structure. You'll find the CCS foam integration between the raised "waffle" section of each pad. The CCS foam design helps prevent excess product from being absorbed into the face of the pad, reducing the amount of product you need. Another benefit of the CCS foam design is keeping the surface wet with polish. Not only does this provide additional lubrication to help prevent marring, it provides a longer working time for your compound or polish of choice.
